Fully Funded ‘Skills for Life’ Training
NCC Skills provides high quality Literacy and Numeracy training to Adults in the workplace.
Working in Partnership with College and Consortia throughout England, we provide Qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy contextualised within vocational awards such as:
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
- Understanding MRSA
- Healthy Eating and Food Hygiene
- Safety Compliance
These courses are fully funded, so long as learners demonstrate a need for improvement in their basic literacy or numeracy and meet the eligibility criteria for funding.
We provide an 8 session training course, delivered in the workplace by a method of blended learning. Utilising specially designed workbooks to support learners through their course, each learner progresses at their own pace with full tutor support throughout.
After an initial group induction session, learners meet weekly with their dedicated tutor on a 1-2-1 basis. There is no need to attend college and we work with the employer to ensure minimal disruption to the day to day operation of the business.
