The National Consortium of Colleges
The Consortium was formed in 2001 with the prime purpose of collaboration and allowing members to take advantage of opportunities arising from Consortium activities and relationships. All Further Education Colleges are eligible to join the Consortium. However, Consortium membership is operated on an invitation basis to take account of existing member interests and requirements.
The Consortium’s Aims and Objectives are as detailed:
- To encourage collaboration between member Colleges
- To maintain members standards for audit purposes
- To identify and communicate best practice
- To share knowledge and products
- To identify and bid for national contracts
- To offer national delivery capability
- To represent the interests of member Colleges and national bodies.
