Every apprentice must complete a unit of study that ensures they are familiar with their rights and responsibilities. This guide provides a self teach approach to the subject, based upon the DfES syllabus and provides apprentices with the essential knowledge required to complete this unit, together with an activities booklet with which to demonstrate their learning

Common Induction Standards Programme
This programme has been specifically designed to provide new entrants in the care industry with
the opportunity of generating evidence towards their Induction Training Programme Certificate for Carers. It covers the six induction standards issued by Skills for Care in 2006. The activities contained in the workbook cover both SfC and LDAF standards.
Key Skills AON and Communication Level 1
The objective of this programme is to enable the learner to produce the evidence for their application of number and communication portfolio.
The evidence produced will be relevant to the application of number and communication
standards and will demonstrate the learner’s number and communication skills.
